Our advisors represent not only decades of business, real-world experience, but also have been actively involved in cause-based non-profits and are dedicated to making the world a better place. We are dedicated to increasing scale and effectiveness of impact donations, venture philanthropy and impact investing around the world. Our advisors works with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.
We have identified and invested in several initial opportunities that align with our mission and values, that will impact the Global Good, and have the opportunity to provide donors with a return beyond their gift.
Eric Trappen
Founder
Today Eric is principal at his strategy and innovation consultancy Perspicacity Group, which focuses on innovation, growth and building value in businesses regardless of their size. For the past 25 years, he has applied his consultation experience and knowledge to C-level executives from the fortune 500 through participating in the commercialization and exit strategies for 10 start-ups.
Eric has bachelor's degrees in mathematics, Finance, Business and Economics, as well as two master's degrees in business (MBA) and a MIS in Computer Science from institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University, Robert Morris University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Eric has been an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship and entrepreneur in residence and speaker at ASU and Thunderbird School of Management giving presentations on entrepreneurship, venture funding and building value in growing companies.
Having moved to Arizona to care for his mother suffering with MS, he has had direct experience with many support and healthcare organizations. Because of his experience and professional involvement with numerous nonprofits, he identified many inefficiencies within the current systems, and identified opportunities to improve processes in those industries.
Arnie Begler

Arnie is a consultant and entrepreneur focused on business, marketing, and growth strategies. He most recently spent 20 + years as Chief Strategy Officer for Pipitone, a mid-sized, award-winning integrated marketing firm in Pittsburgh, PA.
He began his entrepreneurial career in 1983, as a co-founder of High Technology Associates, one of the nation's first firms dedicated to the concept of database marketing. That business was acquired by a small Pittsburgh agency that grew to become Brunner, a top 100 ad agency in the U.S. While there, he led the acquisition and was General Manager of Lighthouse Interactive, building websites and other digital services for Fortune 100 companies in the mid-90's.
Tran Tran

Tran Tran was born in VN and immigrated to the US in 1975 at the age of 9 with her parents and 5 younger siblings. After finishing her Bachelor’s degree, Tran joined a large international staffing firm and fell in love with the industry. In 2001, Tran founded Axis Employment Services, a full service staffing firm helping businesses from small local companies to large fortune 100 Corporations, find the key talents they need to help make their businesses successful.
Since 2003, Axis employment Services has won numerous awards such as Top 10 Staffing Firm, Top Minority Firm and Entrepreneur Leader of the year from Organizations such as Heirs to the republic, AZ Minority Business Enterprise, Republic Media, ACEL (Asian Corporate Entrepreneur Leadership)and Ranking Arizona. “Customer Service and Integrity is key. Jeremy Veatch

Jeremy currently works directly with CEOs to growth their business, as a strategic advisor, investor and board member. Jeremy spent years in corporate America scaling technology and people processes using Six Sigma principles. He has helped numerous businesses scale and achieve sustainability via strong profits. Having started several ventures, he most recently co-founded a boutique management consulting firm for growth-stage companies in North America, exiting in 2021. He was also the managing partner for an AZ-based investment fund. Jeremy is adjunct faculty in Strategic Management at GCU.
He received his BS in Accountancy from University of Arizona and MBA from Arizona State University.
In his most recent position as a Board member for Cognigence, his passion for helping others is highlighted by his prior service as Board chair for Hustle USA, a CDFI helping under-resourced individuals start small businesses. Jeremy currently serves as Finance chair for Another Round Another Rally, which deployed over $3MM to underrepresented populations during the COVID pandemic and connects the hospitality workers to affordable healthcare. He is also on the board of a private college in Virginia whose mission is to bring higher education to all, regardless of background. He spends much of his time in downtown Phoenix, AZ, with his Med/Peds trained wife and two joyful daughters.
Joshua Routh

Joshua Routh is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Midwestern University, where he leads both educational initiatives and cutting-edge research in molecular diagnostics. He also serves as scientific advisor and clinical laboratory director for several molecular diagnostics companies where he plays a crucial role in the development of innovative cancer detection assays, directing regulatory efforts, and managing clinical studies.
Joshua began his professional journey at the University of Arizona, where he earned his MD after receiving a BS in Electrical Engineering. His career in molecular pathology has included leadership roles at Exact Sciences, where he oversaw clinical testing for over 20,000 cancer patients, and at the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Healthcare Center, where he served as Director of Clinical Pathology.
Today, Joshua continues to advocate for the integration of precision medicine into standard clinical practice, working to improve cancer diagnostics and patient care. He resides in Arizona, where he enjoys exploring the intersections of technology, science, and medicine.

Alexander Renz

Alexander Renz is passionate about innovation and enabling business to thrive in a world of constant change and digital disruption.
Following various sales and marketing roles at Bosch in Europe and Asia Pacific, Alex has enjoyed a long career in enterprise applications with top players such as SAP, Microsoft and Infor. Alex has experience across a wide range of technologies and applications across a variety of industries. Alex initiated SAP's work on the Internet of Things (IoT) with the sponsorship of the MIT Auto-ID center in 2001 and worked in blockchain and crypto since 2017.
